‘Géographie de la Lumière | Geography of Light’ – This was a proposal for a wall-mounted installation composed of geometric forms, most of which contain photographic and painterly depictions of clouds. Interspersed among these are detailed renderings of architectural facades from Toronto, subtly referencing the urban context of the airport. Fragments of text, in the original French, are drawn from the chapter of Le Petit Prince in which the protagonist visits the planet of the geographer. These excerpts evoke themes of observation, epistemology, and the tension between mapped knowledge and lived experience. By juxtaposing ephemeral skies with grounded urban detail, the artwork invites contemplation of travel as both a physical and philosophical journey.
