24″ x 24″ This work consists of UV-cured ink on aluminum composite, framed in white floater frame.
The piece presents a layered image of the sky structured through a central circular field. A background of soft, atmospheric clouds is interrupted by a banded circular form composed of vertical stripes derived from an abstracted water pattern. Within these stripes, a second, distinct sky becomes visible. The result is a perceptual interplay between two images occupying the same space.
